Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special

The Jaguar XKR has been given an extra shot of performance (and paint) for the 2009 Festival of Speed to create the Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special.
It’s strictly a one-off for now, but the way the crowds have been gathering around the lime green body, Jaguar must be seriously tempted to consider a limited edition run.
Taking the supercharged Jaguar XKR as its basis, the XKR Goodwood gets faster, louder and lower. Power has been ramped up from 503bhp to 523bhp, while torque has been pushed from 461lb ft to 516lb ft, moving what is one of the best GT cars into supercar territory. In keeping with its harder core outlook, the XKR Goodwood also sits on lightweight 21in satin-finish alloys while the sports exhaust creates all sorts of fireworks when you lift off the throttle.
