The All New Corvette ZR1 2010 Unveiled

A 2010 version of the Corvette ZR1 has been announced in the US by Chevrolet.
The main addition over the previous model is a performance traction management system, which “optimizes traction for greater and more consistent on-track performance” according to GM.
The system modulates engine torque 100 times per second and automatically manages acceleration dynamics when exiting corners at full throttle.
Other new kit includes a launch control system, while inside there is a cashmere interior and new side air bags.
Under the bonnet, things have remained changed and the ZR1′s supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine still puts out 638bhp and 604lb ft of torque.
The Corvette ZR1 2010 will be priced at $107,830 (£65,000), a $2,910 (£1750) increase over the 2009 model.
