The best from Tokyo’s Motor Show

The 41st Tokyo Motor Show starts tomorrow and will run until 4 November. Not only will there be lots of car geeks, scantily clad models and wacky concepts – there will also be stunning cars that will soon be gracing our roads. Here is our pick of the bunch.
Mazdaspeed 3 Powered Supasse V. Made by Japanese kit car specialist Suzusho, this aluminium and fibre glass beauty is to go on sale next year for around £50k.

Toyota’s FT-86. A Toyota Subaru hybrid, which despite being a concept now, will hit the roads in 2011.

Lotus Exige Scura. In menacing matt black, the latest horse from the Lotus stable is carbon-fibred up to the hilt. Only 35 are being made.
The Subaru Impreza WRX STI. A great car but now in carbon fibre.

Subaru’s Hybrid Tourer Concept is powered from three different sources; a 2.0-litre engine, electric engine and lithium batteries.
