BMW M3 Coupé Edition

When pictures of the new BMW M3 Coupé Edition landed on our desks this morning, we got ridiculously excited. Was this the return of the lean, mean and vaunted M3 CSL? Err, sadly not.

Don’t get us wrong, the new M3 Coupé Edition is still one hugely desirable Beemer. It’s just that the majority of tweaks being made on this six-month limited run vehicle are cosmetic. M3 aficionados will be able to spot that this special edition sits lower than the standard car (10mm in fact) and also features some very cool 19in double-spoke black rims. Look closer and you’ll also see the kidney grille, side gills and exhaust tips are now finished

Prices for this 414bhp special will start from £53,345, which is £3k more than the standard M3 and a worthy addition to anybody’s driveway. But we’re still keeping our fingers crossed that BMW decides to make a 450bhp, 150kg lighter CSL version.
